NES VC Discounts for NES Remix Owners on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo of Europe have launched a range of Virtual Console discounts for those who own either of the NES Remix games.

From 24th July those who own NES Remix or NES Remix 2 can grab 50% discount on a selection of NES titles, with a new set available each week for four weeks. The first crop of games that'll come with a 50% discount include:

  • Clu Clu Land
  • Dr. Mario
  • Excitebike
  • Ice Hockey
  • Super Mario Bros.
  • The Legend of Zelda
  • Urban Champion

This is where it would be beneficial for cross-platform ownership to work. These discounts are only available on Wii U, but some of these games are also on 3DS - but those who own NES Remix won't be able to get a discount on the 3DS versions.

A great time to finally pick up TLoZ. €2,50 isn't too bad for a game I already own 3 times.
