E3 2014 | GameCube Bundle for Super Smash Bros. Wii U

Dedicated Super Smash Bros. players will be able to grab hold of a special GameCube controller bundle for Wii U.

As previously announced, the forthcoming Super Smash Bros. game will be compatible with classic GameCube controllers, made possible via a dedicated wired adapter that plugs into the Wii U console. To make things that bit sweeter there will also be a special Super Smash Bros. bundle that includes a copy of the Wii U game, a special GameCube controller and adapter.

As highlighted in previous Nintendo Direct presentations, the Wii U version will arrive during winter 2014, with the 3DS edition out on October 3rd, 2014.
