In the latest bout of Senran Kagura 2 footage, there's a look at the new pair battle system.
A series of demonstration videos surfaced this week, showing brawler fans some of the new techniques available, including a tag-team option whilst slashing through hordes of enemies.
The partner character, which can also be a rival, will battle independently, but orders can also be issued to form combos, counters and a tag-team move. The better the pairing, the better the damage given, with different combinations available based on the pairings.

Given the series' notion for clothes shedding, there'll also be the inclusion of outfits being removed from enemies, with the ability to... "examine" them in the game's reference library.
Finally, a weapon toggle will allow players to incorporate gems to boost its ability - including an attack increase, health recovery and invulnerability to elements like fire.
