Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Shipment Estimate

Capcom have posted estimated sales figures for  Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate over the coming fiscal year.

With the original version of Monster Hunter 4, exclusive to Japan, generating an exceptional amount of sales/shipments so far, the publisher is banking on similar success when the game leaves Japanese shores.

Since launch, Monster Hunter 4 shipped 4.1 million units in Japan alone, with a large chunk coming from downloads on the 3DS eShop.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, the enhanced edition, is coming to North America and Europe early next year, and Japan this Autumn, offering an expanded adventure plus revisions. With that in mind, Capcom are anticipating a shipment figure of around 3.9 million units of Ultimate by March 31st 2015.
