No Plans to Release Youkai Watch outside Japan

Despite strong hints that the series might be on the way, Level-5 have declined plans to release Youkai Watch outside Japan.

The popular game, which recently celebrated shipping over a million titles in Japan, has been strongly suggested for a localised release. In an English report confirming the sales data for the series so far, the publisher noted how "there are no plans for release outside Japan" and it "will be announced separately if considered for a Western release."

Level-5 are already working on a new Youkwai Watch title for 3DS.
