Pokémon X and Y are Fastest Selling 3DS Game

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y have, together, sold close to 12 million copies on the Nintendo 3DS to date.

The games are collectively the fastest-selling title on the portable Nintendo platform, with around 400,000 sold in the last two months alone. The Pokémon Company confirmed the figures earlier today, with the tally for Pokémon titles to date amassing a stellar 245 million units worldwide.

Pokémon Red/Blue sold close to 24 million, Gold/Silver 23 million, with Black and White selling 15.4 million units so far.
