Gears Rolling onto Nintendo Wii U eShop this Year

Mobot Studios has confirmed that iOS action/platformer Gears will be heading to the Wii U eShop this Spring.

Originally released by Crescent Moon Games, the game involves simply rolling a ball through obstacle filled worlds, taking on a detailed steampunk vibe. The Wii U version will come with improved graphics to suit the transition from smartphone to TV, with higher resolution texture work, improved lighting/shadows and additions to the GamePad functionality.
