More Pokémon 3DS Consoles for Japan Footy Matches

Three more Nintendo 3DS console variations are heading to Japan this year, to tie into the FIFA World Cup.

With footy season in full swing, The Pokémon Company and Nintendo are getting in the mood by releasing three coloured 3DS consoles, complete with Pokémon artwork across both sides. These will be rare indeed, with each console given away at one of the home games for  F.C Tokyo, Yokohama F Marinos and the Urawa RED Diamond, with the number of consoles dependent on the results of a raffle and the team's score.

The promotion is also linked to the upcoming Pokémon film, Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie.
