Nintendo has confirmed that Mario, Zelda and company won't be making an appearance during this year's PAX East.
The company has traditionally setup shop during the event, offering consumers a direct/hands-on approach with the latest console and handheld must-have games, but this year the Nintendo tour won't be stopping here.
That said, the North American branch did confirm that it would "offer our fans a variety of opportunities to get their hands on Nintendo products in 2014" and to keep an eye out for "more information about where we'll be and what you can play."
Despite the Nintendo no-show, various indie developers will continue to bring their 3DS/Wii U efforts to the table, with Renegade Kid "offering a 3DS lounge to sit & play 3DS", according to founder Jools Watsham.
Thoughts? Are you disappointed in the lack of Nintendo presence at the event?
