Nintendo have confirmed that servers for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will go down for an extended period this week.

The company posted the news earlier today, confirming that online services for both games - which includes battles and trades - will be inaccessible between today, Tuesday 11th March 00:00 and 14:00 GMT (Monday 10th 17:00 PST to Tuesday 11th 07:00).

The Wii U and 3DS eShop services will also be down on Thursday 13th March from 20:00 to 00:00 GMT.
