Skylanders Sells over $2 Billion Globally

Skylanders sales figures are soaring as Activision confirms a strong performance for the series last year.

In the company's latest financial report, published this week, Activision highlighted continually strong demand for the franchise - which includes both games and collectable toys. As of December 31st 2014, the series has sold more than $2 billion globally, including around 175 million Skylanders toys sold - over 100 million entered players' homes by the end of 2012.
