In order to improve the eShop and Network experience, Nintendo of Europe have issued a curfew for eShop access on a temporary basis.
The Nintendo Network service, which includes online accounts and the download eShop catalogue, has been plagued by issues this week due to high demand from new users attempting to sign up and play. Nintendo did acknowledge that the issue is being looked into as a priority and today confirmed that the eShop services will be offline between 9PM and 9AM GMT (10 p.m. and 10 a.m. CET) on a temporary basis.
Fans have reported that certain parts of the Network can now be accessed, but there's still inconsistent connectivity across the globe.
