Wii U GamePad Battery Launches in North America on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Need some addition juice for the Nintendo GamePad battery? The new, meatier, battery pack has launched in North America.

The new Wii U GamePad battery claims to improve the default capacity of three to five hours to something more in the nine to ten mark, doubling the gameplay time for most players. There had been a handful of stores stocking the battery in the US, but the accessory has now officially touched down on American soil.

The official Nintendo online store is now stocking the the Official Wii U High-Capacity battery pack for $32 (£19.99).
