Nintendo Comments on Smash Bros. Release Date

Nintendo has commented on the recently teased release period for the next chapter in the Super Smash Bros. franchise - a misquotation of an interview.

Earlier this week the game was teased for a potential Spring 2014 launch date, alongside the much anticipated Mario Kart 8 on Wii U. The popular racer is still on track for a Spring 2014 date, but the next chapter in the franchise brawler is still uncertain but poised for sometime 2014.

"The original article has since been rectified and we have no further announcements to make at this time", said Nintendo of Germany in a statement.
