Mario Galaxy Level Confirmed for Smash Bros. on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo are bringing back the much loved Super Mario Galaxy series by including it in the next Super Smash Bros. games.

In today's Super Smash Bros. updates, Sakurai revealed the previously speculated stage as a vibrant planet full of charming details from both Super Mario Galaxy titles, including the Mario Ship and one of Bowser Jr's notorious fleet.

Sakurai teases that gravitational pulls will come into play, so will "require brand new tactics", he said on Miiverse.

Because of the console nature of Super Mario Galaxy, it's uncertain whether the level would appear on the 3DS edition, with a Super Mario 3D Land level perhaps being a possibility instead.

What are your thoughts on the new Super Mario Galaxy stage?

Man, if Nintendo simply upped the textures and generated some massive Mario Galaxy 1+2 HD remake, I'd be all over it.
