Marth Confirmed for New Super Smash Bros. Games on Wii U, 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Another veteran favourite has been confirmed for the next set of Super Smash Bros. games, the speed warrior Marth.

The Fire Emblem star, who had a pivotal role in Fire Emblem: Awakening, has made his debut in the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U version of the popular Nintendo brawler. Armed with his trusty blade and defensive cape, Marth enters the ring with quick witted combos and powerful counter attacks.

Played him on Melee until I got access to Roy, to whom I then switched, but haven't played him as much in Brawl.

Oooh good! He's my strongest choice in Brawl when Samus didn't feel as balanced as in Melee. ^^

I really like his new costume and he actually seems to be showing emotions now! I wonder if he'll get an English voice this time around.

Loving this! Hoping we'd see a few more Fire Emblem characters, archers, axe-wielders and sages? That would offer up a more varied approach. 

I think if they were getting rid of clones then Ike might not fair as well due to a few similarities with Ganondorf and C.Falcon.
