Bestselling Nintendo console, the original Wii, will begin to see the end with production of the hardware to end shortly.
As Nintendo moves into the second year of the console's successor, the Wii U, the Wii will be ending soon, according to the Wii product page on the official Japanese website.The Wii was best known for introducing motion control and casual, family gaming to the masses and in the home, surpassing the 100 million mark back in July this year.
It's uncertain whether it applies to the Wii Mini as well, but new units of the original Wii console will soon become a rare find indeed.
