Princess Peach Returns to Super Smash Bros on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo have confirmed another returning challenger for the next Super Smash Bros. game, Princesss Peach.

With her explosive side pounce, turnips and deadly aerial smashes, Peach returns to the battlefield with her classic moves and timeless Mushroom Kingdom beauty. She was announced as part of today's update on the official Super Smash Bros. development website.

Wow! I was not expecting the Princess for a while! So now we have the 4 Mario veterans, and it looks like we might not have Toad... oh well. Anyway, I am a Peach main, and I am thrilled with her appearance. And her Up Smash seems to get more range with a ribbon around it. Sweet! I am SO excited to play her!

Seems like were getting a character a month which is cool but I was kinda suprised Peach was announced today xD Loving the more cartoony style for this game and it'll be interesting to see which character gets announced next month (Possibly Zelda or Sonic?).

Hi can i request that new character reveals are placed inside the news story and not in the title. My fave bit of melee was unlocking all the hidden characters, that was kinda ruined when sakurai insisted on announcing every single character before hand.

Its not so important to me for returning characters, but if he announces anyone new, i'd rather not know until the game's in my hands
