Taiko: Drum Master Heading to Wii U, Features Pokémon and One Piece on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Taiko: Drum Master has been confirmed for a Wii U release this November with GamePad support.

The game will feature a range of different tracks from various animé, pop artists and video games including One Piece, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

According to Gematsu, when controlled off-TV, players will use the buttons, when using both the TV and the GamePad, it will switch into touch controls. The Wii remote/drums and drumsticks from the Wii version are also supported. There'll be a "Baton Pass" performance feature, plus a Nintendo tie-in that includes masks of Mario and Luigi to wear.
