Capcom: No Plans for Street Fighter Wii U at the Moment on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono has confirmed that there aren't plans to bring Street Fighter to the Nintendo Wii U.

Despite Street Fighter IV launching on the Nintendo 3DS, those wanting the classic brawler to return to the Nintendo home console scene will have to wait a while longer. Earlier this week Ono was asked by a fan on Twitter whether there'll be a Street Fighter game on the Wii U, to which he replied that "we don't have plans about it at this moment".

Of course not. But give it time. They'll announce a new Street Fighter game exclusively for Wii U, then release it for Xbox One and Playstation 4 with additional content. Smilie

I guess if you count 'this game is not coming to this console' as news, you can write news posts everyday for a console's lifespan.
Wouldn't it better to do it only the other way around? If it's coming let people know, and just assume the rest isn't.
Sorry if you didn't want this advice I am not trying to offend.

There are of course hundreds of games not in development for Wii U - but when a developer specifically highlights that there aren't any plans, it's worth posting I think!
