Pokémon Developer Game Freak Blends Horses and Solitaire

Last week Pokémon creators Game Freak teased a mystery game, which has now been revealed as a combination of horse racing and solitaire.

The studio hinted that this new side project would be a "popular game that is played around the world", but reborn. The project is now confirmed as Soliti Horse, an Nintendo eShop project where players race horses and also play a classic game of solitaire to give four legged friends more power. Part action, part card-game, players crank the whip and draw lines on the touch screen to guide their horse.

The game will be available 31st July for 500 Yen on the eShop and will be Game Freak's first self-published title.
