Trademark sleuths have spotted a new registration from Nintendo involving the popular strategy series Fire Emblem.
As encountered by DualShockers, Nintendo of Japan have filed two new trademarks. One for the term "Fire Emblem" and another with "Emblem" alone, processed on June 24th and confirmed today. The registration isn't said to be a renewal as none of the previous trademarks were set to expire recently. Both were filed by developer Intelligent Systems, which could be potentially related to a new Fire Emblem game.
