Xander Davis, a chap who previously critical about the Wii U, has changed his mind during developing indie project CIDER.
Davis, who previously worked with Vigil on Darksiders II, wasn't the Wii U's biggest fan when the system launch last year, claiming the hardware was a "gimmick". However since becoming an indie outfit, Astrogun, Davis was approached by Nintendo to bringing CIDER to Wii U.
Since working with the hardware, he's u-turned on his initial opinion, claiming that the Wii U is a useful platform for indie developers and that he's "finally getting it".
It seems Nintendo's approach to bringing on more indie developers is working in the hardware marker's favour with Astrogun well on board.
