C3 Plays | Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 3DS E3 Demo Playthough with Commentary on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for Nintendo 3DS made a big impression during the post-E3 playthrough sessions in London this week.

With six dedicated Nintendo 3DS booths just for A Link Between Worlds, series fans and Legend of Zelda newcomers got to go hands-on with the latest entry in the series, the direct sequel to the critically acclaimed Link to the Past. Not just a simple palette upgrade, the new game offers brand new mechanics and dungeon designs with the 3DS hardware and 3D effect in mind.

In the playthrough video, off camera, I explore the familiar overworld of Hyrule plus one of the demo dungeons in the game itself.

C3 Plays video includes music and commentary.

I noticed the Buzz Blobs didn't electrocute you if you whacked them with your sword like in LttP, and you also couldn't stab walls with your sword to check for hidden rooms. Otherwise, classic Zelda, great fun.
