E3 2013 | New Sonic Lost World Gameplay Videos for Wii U, 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

SEGA has posted walkthrough videos of several levels in Sonic Lost World ahead of E3 next week for both Wii U and 3DS.

The Nintendo-exclusive platformers, due out this year, introduce a wealth of new mechanics, colour abilities and a parkour inspired system. As well as variable running speeds (hold a shoulder button to accelerate), there'll be multiple routes, classic enemies and themes in both versions.

Whilst it appears that the 3DS version is leaning towards more side-scrolling/classic levels, there will be more 3D/contemporary Sonic stages as well.

They've only mentioned online multiplayer for the 3DS. I hope this isn't another case of "no online mode for WiiU" :/

Local multiplayer is too limited on a home console these days Sega.

Both versions are looking pretty good. Not too sure I'm into the Mario galaxy esque random looking levels but they may grow on me.

Liking this a lot better now than before - I think the 3DS gameplay stands out to me more though!
