Earthworm Jim Creator Returns with Claymation Project Armikrog on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The chap behind Earthworm Jim, Doug TenNapel, has returned to the video game scene with a unique claymation project, Armikrog.

The group, Pencil Test Studios, have launched a Kickstarter campaign for the new concept which relies heavily on hand-made clay models painstakingly animated by much of the original team behind The Neverhood.

Armikrog revolves around a space explorer known as Tommynaut and his companion, a blind alien, talking dog called Beak-Beak. The pair end up on a strange planet and end up locked up in a fortress known as Armikrog.

The project is currently in development for PC, MAC and Linux.

What do you think of the Armikrog claymation concept?

The team has been approached by Nintendo to make a version for the WiiU! They still need to make their funding goal, though, and there's only a few days left. Go support them!
