Amiga and SNES Classic Putty Returns on Nintendo Wii U and 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

System 3 has announced a comeback for the Amiga classic Putty in a new game for multiple platforms this summer.

Announced today, Putty Squad will once again set out to rescue his kidnapped friends in a new adventure re-imagined as a more contemporary platformer but with the classic Putty feel.

The original game, developed and released in 1992 for the Amiga and SNES in 1993 as Super Putty, revolved around a world called Putty Moon. Banished from the moon to the planet below, the poor Putty set out to find a way home.

Putty Squad will head to Nintendo Wii U, 3DS, PC, Xbox 360, PS Vita and PS3 this summer.

Are you a fan of the original Putty and are you looking forward to a sequel?
