The creator of the Assassin's Creed concept has been fired by Ubisoft after discussions between the pair fell through.
Patrice Desilets, who came back to Ubisoft after THQ, was handed his termination and "unceremoniously escorted out of the building by two guards", he confirmed to Polygon. He was unable to bid his team adieu and collect his personal belongings. "Ubisoft's actions are baseless and without merit".
The designer intends to fight Ubisoft, the project and his rights. Ubisoft however feel the move was in "good faith discussions".
