A somewhat confusing week in which I turned to the Gods for guidance towards just what has been going on. In just one week we saw two companies jump about cancelling and un-cancelling GameCube support, then for one to confirm they had cancelled, only for it all to be confused so many times that many were left with motion sickness. Have no fear, I am your remedy...perhaps.

This Week: 29/02/04

The first big piece of news that hit gaming this week was from the lovely people at Free Radical, now I wont go to lengths to call anyone in gaming lovely, but I have a huge amount of respect for a company that in my view do everything how it should be done. Good British development is very hard to find nowadays but the company assembled from many ex-Rare men is a shining beacon amongst the squalor below them.

This week they announced a brand new game, along with confirmation of TimeSplitters 3 on the GameCube. Now obviously a new game from such a respected and intelligent games company is something to be very interested in. Second Sight as it has been dubbed will be something a bit different from the development outfit from up-north. It certainly seems to be a more sinister and deep affair compared to the joys of the TimeSplitters franchise. The list of titles to look forward to at this year
