Project X Zone Set to Brawl on Nintendo 3DS from June 25th

Want to dabble in a Namco Bandai, SEGA, Capcom fighting orgy? A release date has been set for Project X Zone.

The cross-franchise brawler was dated on the official site as June 25th 2013, and has since been confirmed by publisher Namco Bandai. Released in Japan and seemingly exclusive to the east, the concept was announced for localisation earlier this year.

Just how do all these popular and obscure faces find each other in battle? Well it's down to a nicked ancient artifact called the "Portalstone". With it now missing, it's caused an epic time-space rift in which crossovers can occur. Play as your favourites including Chris and Jill from Resident Evil, Tekken's Jin Kazama and folk from the more recent franchises like Endless Frontier and .hack.
