Japanese studio Spike Chunsoft are adding a layer of AR tech to the upcoming Nintendo 3DS entry in the Detective Conan series.
In Detective Conan: Marionette Symphony players will use the 3DS's augmented reality feature to view "Truth Cards" that are crucial for solving cases. By using the cards, a 3D Conan will appear and help solve cases by throwing a handful of coins at him (the digital kind).

Spike Chunsoft have also outlined a character switching "zap" ability, where players can take on other roles to help unravel clues from a different person's perspective.
Detective Conan: Marionette Symphony is out in Japan on April 25th.
