Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Getting Off-Screen Play and Cross-Regional Multiplayer in April on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

With Monster Hunter just a month away, Capcom has announced that they'll be releasing a major patch for it in April. The patch will introduce off-screen play for the Wii U's GamePad, a feature that is quickly becoming a favorite among users. There has been a lot of criticism regarding MH3U's region-locked online. The patch will address that issue as well, allowing cross-region online. So get your 2nd language dictionaries ready.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be released on March 19th in NA, for both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. If you haven't played it yet, there are demos in both the 3DS eShop and the Wii U eShop. So get ready for hundreds of hours of monster hunting and skinning and item crafting, true gamers!

Awesome! Making it even ulimater.

WOOT & DOUBLE WOOT!!! Now just fix the crappy messaging system you had set up in Tri Capcom, allow voice chat again via the game pad & we'll be golden bro!!

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Voice chat via the GamePad was confirmed a while ago. I haven't seen anything about the online but do you mean those private messages they had in Tri? That should be better now since your Wii U friend list is actually integrated into the game.
