During a Japan-exclusive Nintendo Direct this morning, Satoru Iwata revealed new gameplay footage for Capcom's Monster Hunter 4.

The latest in the beast slaying franchise will set foot on Nintendo 3DS exclusively some-point during Summer this year. Large, flesh hungry monsters await across huge landscapes, vast terrains, with all new armour and weaponry to pave a path to victory.

Wow! MH4 looks great. They really improved the textures and models.

I like the cutscenes with your characters in it &.....it almost seems like they're going for a more story driven adventure with the darkness infested monsters which is interesting. But yeah I like the more action based feel of this game. That crazy huge snake looks like an impressive boss....I just hope capcom reduces any lag to ZERO!!
