Nintendo Reveals Yoshi's New Wii U Adventure

Nintendo Reveals Yoshi

Included in a brief speech regarding newly announced Wii U titles, like new Mario games and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata has shown off the new project on the way from the makers of Kirby Epic Yarn.

Currently untitled (with previous rumours labeling the game simply as Yoshi's Land), the game looks to take artistic cues from Kirby's Wii platformer whilst casting Mario's sidekick in the lead role. First footage below.

Looks absolutely gorgeous. But I hope it feels different than Epic Yarn. I personally did not enjoy Epic Yarn to much, way to easy to the point that it was just extremely boring.

Aye, there's that possibility that the style means this is gonna be geared primarily to kids. Which is fair enough; Yoshi is a kids-oriented game series. But would be nice to give something back to those that grew up on the challenge of Yoshi's Island.

I wonder if kirby will show up in the game? Both Kirby and Yoshi eat there enemies, it would only make sense if he was to show up and team up with Yoshi.
