FUNimation License Well Equipped Ninja Animé Senran Kagura on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Whilst the Western release of Senran Kagura on Nintendo 3DS is still in question, but likely, animation studio FUNimation has picked up the rights for the animé version of the series, which sees the same bountiful cast strut their ninja ways on North American screens after airing in Japan just last week.

The first pair of episodes can be streamed on the official English website, and the show is rated 17+ due to certain scenes of a provocative nature. These are  the pilot, "Ninja That Stand Atop Skyscrapers" and follow-up, "The Legendary Shinobi Appears".

For now, a trailer of the animé to get an idea of the Senran Kagura concept - potentially NSFW.

Wow. I have never seen fanservice THIS overt. Making this an eShop exclusive is good news for any otaku out there too afraid to ask for this at GameStop. Haha.

Like video game music?!

Does anyone remember when the phrase 'fan service' wasn't associated with anime porn lol.
