Square Enix has posted sales figures for key titles released this year, revealing a strong performance from Nintendo exclusive titles.
In terms of shipping numbers, over 900,000 copies of Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D were shipped, Kingdom Hearts 3D shipped 650,00 units in Europe and North America and the more niche 3DS gem Theatrhythm Final Fantasy has had a smaller run of 150,000 copies.
The cross-platform Dragon Quest X is one the Japanese studio's biggest investments to date, debuting on the Nintendo Wii and soon to be joined by a Wii U edition. During the last quarter, ending September 30, over 700,000 copies were shipped - and over 400,000 users have paid and registered so far. In the same three-month period Final Fantasy XI had just 100,000 members from launch.
