According to a Ubisoft representative, the upcoming Assassin's Creed III will feature 3D support on both the TV and GamePad.
The publisher held a launch event for Assassin's Creed III today, and according to IMGMR a Product Manager revealed that the Wii U version will support 3D output on the main screen, if a 3D TV, plus supposedly output in 3D on the GamePad as well - for a dual 3D experience with glasses.
Neither Nintendo nor Ubisoft have yet to comment on the potential 3D output on the GamePad. The console had been confirmed to support the technology, but "that's not the area we're focusing on", company president Satoru Iwata said in 2011.
It's certainly an intriguing addition to the Wii U's mysteries.
Would you play Assassin's Creed III in 3D with 3D outputting from the GamePad as well?
