Shooter fans rejoice! Activision's latest entry in the longrunning Call of Duty series is heading to Wii U.
Announced today during the Nintendo of America stage presentation, the publisher confirmed that the Treyarch-developed Wii U version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II is launching alongside the system on November 18th.
The Wii U edition will boast the same core gameplay as its brothers, but will also include the ability to split screen: one player using the TV, with the other on the GamePad. Alternatively a single player can complete the entire experience on the controller alone.
Online play will also feature skill-based matchmaking, ranked play and a feature known as "CODcasting", where players can commentate on their favourite matches.
Up to four players can dabble in multiplayer, with support for the Wii U Pro controller, Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuck.
