During a half hour slot, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata explained to an eager audience of thousands of gamers around the globe just what the Wii U does and how the company hope it will revolutionise and complete the gaming experience.
The Wii U tablet controller, now known as GamePad, boasts a revised look with analogue sticks, NFC spot and a meaty list of functions. Nintendo also detailed the online concepts behind Wii U and communicating with friends.
