New Super Mario Land 3DS Trailers on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

With under a month to go before Mario leaps into action in your pocket, Nintendo have posted new footage from Super Mario 3D Land.

The pair of trailers explore classic power-ups reborn in 3D, including Mario's boomerang weapon and the much sought-after Tanooki suit, complete with Yoshi-esque flutter. Meaty solo campaign aside, Nintendo are hoping to explore a slice of the social with StreetPass being used to trade "Mystery Boxes" - where you can rummage around to lap up bonuses and other goodies.

Also, did they forget to add a background on that video? The grey check paturn looks exactly like the standard way to say "this is transparent" in most painting programs Smilie
