It has been announced that Junction Point's Disney Epic Mickey on Wii will be released in Japan by Nintendo. The highly impressive 3D platform adventure will launch across Japan on 4th August and follows Nintendo's plans to release Ubisoft's Just Dance 2 and Activision Blizzard's GoldenEye 007 (30th June, a week after a new Wii bundle hits). However, the game will not simply be localised in Japanese, but will have the camera issues fixed and the difficulty setting tweaked, all under Nintendo's personal supervision! Whether or not this Epic Mickey amended edition ever makes it abroad, we shall have to wait and see, but Nintendo did confirm that the game had already sold more than two million units across Europe and the US so far (1.1 million of which was sold during its launch month in the US, last November).
On top of this, a new Pokémon title was announced for 3DS: Super Pokémon Scramble will hit Japan on 28th July. Other than these tidbits, some other dates were revealed:
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS) - 16th June
- Wii Play: Motion (Wii) - 7th July
- Star Fox 64 3D (3DS) - 14th July
- New Red 3DS - 14th July
- Inazuma Eleven Strikers (Wii) - 16th July
- Everybody's Rhythm Heaven (Wii) - 21st July
- Kirby Mass Attack (DS) - 4th August
