E311 Media | Mystery Case Files Unravels Itself on Wii on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo have revealed some sizzling new features for Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident for the Wii. Players must uncover the mystery hidden behind Malgrave island by using the wii remote with up to three others to solve puzzles to find concealed items behind multi-layered hidden-object scenes to reveal the captivating story.

Mystery Case Files will have complex puzzles requiring players to zoom and scroll with the WiiMote to find certain objects which will help players access new areas and solve other puzzles. Included also will be a hint system for when the going gets tough to highlight certain objects to put players on the right path.

There are also three multiplayer modes which can be played with up to four players. Swift Pick, where players compete to find hidden objects first. Tick Tick Pick, in which players must find hidden objects and pass the bomb before it explodes. And classic pick which puts players head to head to find the most amount of hidden objects before the time runs out. This is neatly topped off by drop in and out gameplay within the main adventure, as four brains are most certainly better than one.
