Japanese voice actress Hisako Kanemoto went hands-on with Craft & Meister's Wii realtime RPG, Earth Seeker in a recent session.
Kanemoto embarks on a "Mysterious Treasure" quest in a newly created "Earth". You take on the role of a chap who's crash landed on a new planet, and his ship's tried to recreated earth from its huge encyclopedia of knowledge. Because of the crash though, the computer creates new, freaky lifeforms from a combination of objects - say a chair and an octopus for example. These creatures start to dominate "new Earth".
Earth Seeker is primarily a real-time RPG with monsters appearing in an open world, however time can be frozen to input commands by what's known as the "Time Stop Battle" system.
The Wii-exclusive is due for release June 23 in Japan. A Western release has yet to be mentioned.
