The Last Story Gets The Japanese Wii Bundle on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

There's not long till Mistwalker's Wii-exclusive RPG hits the market, so Nintendo has announced a new bundle for potential Wii owners.

Coming in at 25,800 yen ($310), The Last Story bundle contains a standard white Nintendo Wii, matching white Classic Controller Pro and a copy of the game - wrapped up nicely in a pretty spiffy looking cardboard box.

Regular Wii consoles (without additional games) go for 20,000 yen ($240) in Japan.

As an additional incentive for early adopters, Nintendo are including a bonus artwork book "Elements of The Last Story" and soundtrack CD in first-print copies of the game.

I didnt think this game would get this level of support. I thought it would be another great game that would slip into stores without anyone knowing about it.

Wow, the packaging itself makes this a very desirable edition. Hope the console AND game sell a lot so we get more games from Mistwalker.

Thats cool it comes with the classic control pro and a good game. I feel like all of the Nintendo Wii bundles have been specifically targeting the "casual" gamers--with wii sports and wii sports resort

Only recently with this one and the Red Super Mario Wii are they doing any justice to serve their core audience.

Shame the console itself is the bog standard white Wii right? They could have at least slapped on a sticker or a new Last Story themed shell around it :/ Don't get these bundles sometimes? Smilie
