The team at Junction Point studios working on Disney's Epic Mickey on the Wii recently had a chat about the game's unique story and the importance of storytelling in the concept.
Warren Spector, creative director behind the project, explains how the game was a more of a collaboration between the team and Disney, building on concepts like bringing back the 1920's Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and the whole idea of paint, and lots of it. We also go into the role of choices and going beyond "beating the bad guy" lets players make decisions on the game's ongoing dialogue.
