New Final Fantasy: Four Heroes of Light DS Footage on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The next Final Fantasy entry for DS is out in a couple of weeks, and more footage from Square Enix has battled its way online.

The game follows an original story involving a young chap who, instead of munching cake and enjoying his 14th birthday, is summoned by the land's King to save the princess from an evil witch who has a few diabolical plans or two. Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light is out on DS October 5th in North America, and October 8th in Europe.

Only one month to go and this game will be in my collection. It's Final Fantasy, it's turn based and it has some great surprises for us.

Same here. I just can't resist turn-based DS RPGs, especially if they have such a great artstyle.

The music sounds great, the character design comes from the best at S-E, and it's an old school turn based FF.

I can't imagine myself not loving this, especially since I enjoyed FFIX so much recently.
Gah there are so many games on the way x_X I guess I should pre-order this one too huh.

I think it's perhaps too retro for me. I've got a ton of RPGS to finish and, with Golden Sun on the way, if I am to get another RPG, it has to stand out. Will check out the soundtrack though. Smilie
