Cave Story Confirmed for DSiWare

Cave Story Confirmed for DSiWare on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Developer Nicalis has confirmed recent reports that the side-scrolling shooter Cave Story will be shrunk down for Nintendo's DSiWare.

The game was first mentioned as a listing in Nintendo Power Magazine and has since been confirmed as real by the studio - the DSiWare version is in the works, with approval from original creator Pixel. Wondering where the European WiiWare release has wandered off to? According to Nicalis it is complete, currently in testing and will be available shortly.

Cave Story has been a out for a good while now in the US, if it's undergoing testing then it must be related to language.

It's a great game well worth getting on WiiWare. I wonder how the DSiWare version will compare.
