Art, Story from Earth Seeker - New Wii IP on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

In the build up to E3 this month, Kadokawa Games revealed a new action/adventure IP due for Wii this fall: Earth Seeker.

According to 1up we're thrown into a post-apocalyptic Earth where humans are evacuated on a spaceship from the planet, and whilst trying to find a new home crash into another. The system tries to recreate Earth but it's all a bit glitched-up and so this new place ends up worse than old Earth. now filled to the brim with slightly freaky animal and plant life.

It's now 1000 years after the initial crash and the old ship has begun to release poisonous compounds into the air. This is where you come in - it's your job to find out what's going on by co-operating with the planet's locale, a monstrous race that initially didn't really like humans but they succumb to booze so help you out.

Earth Seeker is being developed by Crafts & Meister, a studio lead by a number of Capcom Production Studio 1 veterans, including Noritaka Funamizu (Street Fighter II, Monster Hunter).
