New TrackMania Wii Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

A new trailer for TrackMania has been released featuring the track making facility and how it will work on the Wii. Unsurprisingly, it is very similar to its predecessors with players being able to add any number of loops, bends and gravity defying jumps to the mix with the Wii Remote's pointing capability. TrackMania's editor allows players to create as many tracks as they wish, on top of the 200 tracks already in the game, and share them with their friends courtesy of Nintendo's Wi-Fi connection - as well as taking on the rest of the world on them. Be sure to check out the trailer below:

TrackMania is set to launch later this year in September

It's worrying that I actually thought this was out...but obviously not. Can't wait to finally play it. It's Firebrand Games' first Wii racer, and I've really enjoyed all the DS titles the Scottish outfit's done so far!

I played the PC version for a while, about two years back and enjoyed trying to get the best times on the Time Trial option. I also gave the DS version a go and I thought they did a good job of shrinking it down to the system.

Hopefully this will turn out good, for those that enjoy the games.

I've got Trackmania on the PC, it's an all round fun game. Looks good.
