EA Brings The Sims 3 to Wii, DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

EA have announced a version of its latest life game, The Sims 3, for multiple consoles including Nintendo's Wii and DS.

The various ports will continue the successful formula found on the PC, including exclusives features for each platform.

Playing The Sims 3 on Wii grants you the ability to enjoy new adventures in a beach city with a new feature dubbed "Moments Mode" to play with friends, bringing life to exclusive residents and all-new mulitplayer fun. Over on the DS you've got the obvious benefits - including touch support and a swanky new story feature to "enjoy life’s special moments" whilst on the move.

The Sims 3 will also be coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 alongside the Wii and DS releases this fall.

Ugh...Moments Mode sounds typical of shite they usually fill the console sims with, why can't they just put the exact Sims PC game onto consoles?
